In the latest video in a long line of successful forced dismantling episodes, the current darling of the Youtube universe have done the unthinkable and crushed two vintage cameras. The reason? To finally answer that age old question of Canon vs Nikon superiority.

This sort of thing can be difficult for camera enthusiasts to stomach, however unlike other similar camera destruction reviews we’ve covered before on Phogotraphy these guys were using non-functioning cameras and let’s face it, the chap controlling the press has an adorable accent.
So which brand ‘won’?
Today’s winner of the ‘Photo of the Day’ award goes to… Ben Innes, the 26 year old British man held hostage by EgyptAir aeroplane hijacker Seif Eldin Mustafa. It’s one of the most bizarre photos we’ve seen on the news lately and epitomises the image of ‘The British Lad’.
Ben is grinning wildly at the camera while looking relaxed with his sunglasses still on his head and his hands by his side while a hint of a faint smile can be seen on his captor who also looks pretty relaxed, especially considering he’s wearing a suicide belt (however this is reported to have been a fake belt).

In a rare break of persona, the satirical photographer Missy Mwac has launched a scathing attack on a popular Facebook page that stole an image and allegedly removed her name as credit. A photo of her as a child in the arms of her doting father.
The picture posted earlier this year is a grainy black and white vernacular snap from the author’s yesteryear entitled with the caption “If you don’t think photos are important, wait until they are all you have left.” The message is especially poignant for Missy who lost her father early in life and helps carry weight to her ongoing cause of getting people to print more photos.
